Iran Proposes Hormuz Reopening Talks Before Nuclear Negotiations
Iran proposed to the U.S. that talks first focus on reopening the Strait of Hormuz and lifting the maritime blockade, while delaying nuclear negotiations. President Trump is scheduled to hold an April 28 Situation Room meeting with top national security and foreign policy advisers on the Iran issue. One U.S. official said the meeting is expected to cover the negotiation deadlock and possible future military actions.
