Note: The RMB midpoint rate is determined by the China Foreign Exchange Trade System, which inquires all interbank foreign exchange market makers before the daily opening of the interbank foreign exchange market, and uses all market maker quotes as samples to calculate the midpoint rate of RMB against the US dollar. After removing the highest and lowest quotes, the remaining quotes are weighted and averaged. The RMB exchange rate midpoint is the most important reference indicator for the spot interbank foreign exchange market and bank posted rates.
