俄一客运列车脱轨致24人受伤
Russian Ministry of Health said on the 3rd that a passenger train derailed in western Russia on the same day, resulting in at least 24 injuries, with no reports of fatalities.
According to RIA Novosti, the train derailed on the 3rd while passing through a forested area in Ulyanovsk Oblast, with 7 carriages coming off the tracks, including 4 children among the injured.
The report said that emergency services in Ulyanovsk Oblast have dispatched rescue personnel to the scene to transport the injured to hospitals for treatment.
The traffic law enforcement department has opened an investigation into the incident. ( Xinhua News Agency )
