Expert: Internal Division Exists Within the U.S. Government, Trump is in a 'Difficult Position'

On April 24, with the ongoing war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran, it is evident that there is a lack of unity within the Trump administration regarding how to proceed. Andrea Dressi, an assistant professor of international relations and global politics at Roma University, stated: “We see that the goals of the U.S. are constantly shifting, strategies are changing, and objectives are being adjusted. Although the Trump administration attempts to ‘project strength’ through social media, in reality, we observe increasing divisions within the U.S. government, with more and more disagreements, as well as the dismissal of several high-ranking officials at the Pentagon and the Department of Defense.
