Recently, people keep asking me, "Can on-chain privacy really hide everything?" Honestly, don't treat it like an invisibility cloak... On-chain records are like footprints in a public square; at most, you can wear a hat or change your shoes. If someone is really watching you (especially if compliance is involved), they can still follow the trail.


I think ordinary users should set their expectations: don't go naked, don't be flashy, don't treat all wallets as one ID card, and also don't expect "absolute anonymity = absolute security."
Moreover, now hardware wallets are out of stock, phishing links are everywhere, and it feels like the ones most likely to strip away your "privacy" aren't on-chain analysis but you clicking on a fake airdrop...
I personally separate addresses, minimize authorizations, and do hard signatures when possible, just for peace of mind.
