U.S. President Trump and UK Prime Minister Stamer had a phone call to discuss the current Middle East situation and emphasized the “urgent need to restore shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.” The UK side stated that the ongoing blockade for several weeks has resulted in a large number of crew members being stranded in the Gulf region. Stamer warned that this would have “serious consequences” for the global economy and the cost of living for the British people.
