⏺Era of Silence: Humanity Speaks 28% Less

We have become the first generation to systematically eliminate live communication. Studies show that since 2005, the volume of daily speech has decreased from 16,600 to 9,000 words. Delivery apps, headphones, and messaging services have removed almost all everyday reasons to open your mouth.

Main risks:
• Isolation: Technologies and AI replace dialogues, turning us into "mute" consumers.
• Threat to children: Due to smartphones, parents speak 16% less to infants, which hampers the development of children's brains.

Scientists do not yet know what such "digital silence" will lead to, but they advise choosing live conversation over screens more often.
