Zelensky announces that the first installment of the EU's 90 billion euro loan will be used for defense production

Ukrainian President Zelensky, at a joint press conference in Kyiv with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, explained the EU’s unfreezing of the 90 billion euro loan, clarifying the purpose of the funds and the impact of the delayed disbursement. Zelensky introduced that the total loan amount is 90 billion euros, with a quota of 45 billion euros in 2026, to be disbursed in multiple installments.
