According to the Ministry of Transport, today (April 4), the total cross-regional personnel flow for the whole society is expected to be approximately 296 million person-trips, a 42.1% increase quarter-on-quarter and a 2.7% increase year-on-year. Railway passenger volume is 21.9 million person-trips, a 20.0% quarter-on-quarter increase and a 9.0% year-on-year increase. Road personnel flow (including non-operational person-trip travel in small passenger cars on expressways and ordinary national and provincial roads, and commercial road passenger transport) is 270.74 million person-trips, a 44.8% quarter-on-quarter increase and a 2.3% year-on-year increase. Of this, commercial road passenger volume is 37.71 million person-trips, an 11.9% quarter-on-quarter increase and a 3.3% year-on-year increase; non-operational person-trip travel in small passenger cars on expressways and ordinary national and provincial roads is 233.03 million person-trips, a 52.0% quarter-on-quarter increase and a 2.1% year-on-year increase. Waterway passenger volume is 1.35 million person-trips, a 69.0% quarter-on-quarter increase and an 11.7% year-on-year increase.
