Recently, my friends kept talking about staking again, sharing security, how great it is, and that the yields can stack... I felt a bit guilty listening: if the yields can stack, the risks and complexity also stack, and I’m most afraid that in the end, I’ll just be left with "I thought I understood."

I’ve had that experience too, reading project documentation until my head was spinning, with modularization, DeFi layer narratives, developers chatting excitedly, and I, as a user, was completely confused.
That day, my finger was hovering over the confirm button, but after thinking it over, I withdrew: if I don’t understand it, I won’t act on it first. I’ll wait until on-chain data and market reactions aren’t too far off before jumping in.
Being a bit slow is okay, at least I won’t enter based on illusions.
