Iran Says IRGC Destroyed Three U.S. GBU-57 Bunker-Buster Bombs
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said its special forces destroyed three U.S. GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs and dismantled a fourth in Zanjan Province. The statement was issued on April 26 local time. The GBU-57 is a heavy penetrating bomb developed by the United States. Iran said the U.S. used the weapon against Iranian nuclear facilities last year and also deployed many of them in this year’s conflict with Iran.
