Iran claims to have successfully destroyed three American giant earth-penetrating missiles
Odaily Planet Daily News reports that on April 26th, local time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced that its special forces successfully destroyed three U.S. GBU-57 mega bunker-buster bombs and dismantled another one left in Zanjan Province, Iran. The GBU-57 (also known as the bunker-buster bomb) is a heavy-duty earth-penetrating bomb developed by the United States. The U.S. used this type of bomb during military operations against Iran’s nuclear facilities last year, and a large number of these weapons have also been used in this year’s U.S.-Iran conflict.
