Iran: Has successfully destroyed three American giant earth-penetrating missiles
On April 26, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced that its special forces had successfully destroyed three U.S. GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators and had dismantled another one left in Zanjan Province, Iran. The GBU-57 (also known as the bunker buster bomb) is a heavy-duty penetrating bomb developed by the United States. Last year, the U.S. used this type of bomb in military operations targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, and a large number of these weapons have also been used in the current U.S.-Iran conflict.
