DeepSeek-V4 Launch: Pro Version's High Price is Temporary, Significant Reductions Expected in Second Half of Year
On April 24, DeepSeek officially announced that the preview version of its new model series, DeepSeek-V4, is now online and open-sourced. DeepSeek-V4 features an ultra-long context of one million words, achieving leading capabilities in agent performance, world knowledge, and reasoning in both domestic and open-source domains. The model is divided into two versions based on size: deepseek-v4-pro and deepseek-v4-flash. DeepSeek stated that due to limitations in high-end computing power, the current throughput for the Pro service is quite limited. It is expected that after the mass release of the Ascend 950 super nodes in the second half of the year, the price of the Pro version will be significantly reduced. (Dongxin News Agency)
