Reports say that, according to multiple informed sources, U.S. Vice President Vance has temporarily shelved the planned departure that day to Pakistan to negotiate with Iran after a series of intensive meetings held inside the White House. The report says that an informed source stated that although Vance could still depart for Pakistan later this week, or possibly as early as that evening, U.S. President Trump is privately discussing the possibility of fully canceling the trip. The source pointed out that the reason is that Iran is unwilling to make concessions on the issue of enriched uranium. Another informed source said that this decision was made because Iran refused to commit to participating in the negotiations. ( Xinhua News Agency )
