On the morning of March 7, the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress held a press conference on people’s livelihood topics. Wang Xiaoping, Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, said that in recent years, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has been exploring pilot programs for occupational injury insurance; at present, in 17 pilot provinces, a cumulative total of more than 25 million people are covered, effectively giving full play to the insurance’s protective function.
