Fujian: By 2030, the total output value across the entire bamboo industry chain in the province will exceed 1500 billion yuan

Recently, the “High-Quality Development Action Plan for the Bamboo Industry in Fujian Province (2026–2030)” has publicly solicited opinions. Among them, it is mentioned that by 2030, the total output value of the entire bamboo industry chain in the province will exceed 150 billion yuan. Vigorously promote the development of “bamboo replacing plastic.” Develop and improve the product standard system for “bamboo replacing plastic,” accelerate the introduction of standards and testing norms for bamboo-based packaging, bamboo tableware, bamboo fiber products, and other products; support the inclusion of related work such as full biodegradation demonstration pilots for “bamboo replacing plastic” into key counties for bamboo deep processing and key counties for integrated development of the bamboo industry’s primary, secondary, and tertiary industries; promote the catalog of main products for “bamboo replacing plastic,” accurately identify substitution scenarios, expand the market supply of green bamboo products, and focus on expanding application scenarios in daily use, cultural tourism, industrial production, agriculture, express delivery, transportation, and other fields.
