Director of the National Health Commission: China's average life expectancy will reach 79.25 years by 2025

Director of the National Health Commission, Lei Haichao, said at the press conference on the theme of people’s livelihood during the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress on March 7 that by 2025, China’s per capita life expectancy will reach 79.25 years, an increase of 1.32 years compared to 2020, with an average annual growth of 0.26 years.
