Running on the chain at night, seeing a bunch of sandwiches and arbitrage dancing... You think you've caught an opportunity, but honestly, most of the time you're just giving others transaction fees. Especially when the mainnet is expensive, your mindset just collapses: placing an order feels like you're sending late-night snacks to miners/validators, and retail traders complaining about MEV and unfair ordering isn't without reason.

What I fear most isn't slowness, but chaos — if it's slow, I can wait; if it's chaotic, I don't even know who I'm trading with. Now I’d rather mess around on L2, at least it doesn’t feel like every confirmation is like playing the lottery. Anyway, just don’t clog the network.
