Just spent some time with Best Wallet and honestly it's pretty solid if you're into mobile-first crypto stuff. Found out it's only been around since 2023 but launched publicly last year, so it's still pretty fresh compared to the usual suspects.

The main thing that caught my attention was how easy they made it to jump into presales and token launches directly from the app. Plus it supports like 60+ blockchains which is wild - you can swap between Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON, all that without needing multiple apps. The non-custodial setup means you keep your own keys, which is the whole point if you care about that stuff.

What's nice is the fee situation - you can buy crypto with debit cards or PayPal without going through KYC, so there's actual privacy there. The app itself looks clean and doesn't feel bloated. Real-time charts, portfolio tracking, dApp access built in. Best Wallet also connects to like 330 different decentralized exchanges so you're not stuck with limited swap options.

But real talk - it's mobile only right now, no desktop or browser extension. For some people that's a dealbreaker. Also the support situation is pretty bare bones, just email and social media. The company doesn't really have public info about the team either which is a bit sus when you're trusting them with your wallet.

Ratings are mixed. Google Play gives it 4 stars from 29K reviews, App Store is 4.4, but Trustpilot is sitting at 2.2 which is rough. People mention occasional balance sync issues and confusing setup for beginners.

Overall Best Wallet works as a modern alternative if you want DeFi stuff integrated without switching apps constantly. Not quite at the level of MetaMask yet and the lack of desktop support is annoying, but the roadmap shows they're planning more features. Worth trying if you're not scared of newer platforms.
