ME News, April 6 (UTC+8): Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Bagheri condemned the United States’ threats against Iranian infrastructure as “war crimes,” warning that any country that assists Washington will bear legal responsibility. He said, “There is no doubt that merely issuing such threats is itself a war crime,” adding that the U.S. speaks, on the one hand, about targeting “energy and industrial infrastructure,” while on the other hand giving Israel a “green light” to attack civilian targets. He emphasized that these actions constitute war crimes under international humanitarian law and the International Criminal Court’s Statute. “All countries should understand that any acts of cooperation and assistance provided in the process of the U.S. carrying out its crimes must be held accountable and should be recognized as war crimes and crimes against humanity.” (Source: PANews)
