Viewpoint Network News: On April 8, during the Qingming holiday, the Jiangmen real estate market saw a spring peak in house-purchasing demand. According to data from the Jiangmen Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, from April 4 to 6, the city’s major real estate projects cumulatively reserved approximately 272 residential units, a year-on-year increase of about 13%. The transaction area was 27.8 thousand square meters, and the transaction amount was 228 million yuan.

According to the introduction, in terms of different regions and projects, both the county-level markets and the central urban areas delivered impressive performances. Kaiping Shangjing Huating led the holiday housing market with 33 reserved units, while Tahe Mingyuan, also in Kaiping, had 13 reserved units. In the central urban area, Poly Langyue in Pengjiang and Jiahai Jiahua New City both completed sales of 14 units, remaining in the first tier of best-selling projects.

The report cites analysis from industry insiders that the hot-selling projects during this holiday generally have advantages such as superior locations, well-developed supporting facilities, and strong brand strength, precisely matching demand for first-time purchases, move-up/renovation needs, and upgrade-improvement housing. As a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese, Qingming is a peak period for Jiangmen relatives at home and abroad to return for ancestor worship. The ample holiday provides convenience for viewing and selecting homes, and combined with the multiple marketing and concession activities launched by property developers, it effectively activates transaction momentum in the market.
