Trump says he is not currently considering sending ground troops to Iran
U.S. President Trump said on the 5th that at the current stage there are no plans to dispatch ground forces to Iran. In a telephone interview with NBC in the United States, Trump said that considering dispatching ground forces to Iran at the current stage is “a waste of time,” and claimed that Iran “has lost its navy, lost everything,” adding that the United States “will continue the pace and intensity of strikes” against Iran.
