Ministry of Civil Affairs: The Civil Aviation Administration of China has approved the naming of the newly built Gonghe Airport as Hainan Prefecture Gonghe Airport.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs website has released an announcement titled “Announcement on the Naming of Gonghe Airport in Hainan Prefecture.” It states that, with approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the newly built Gonghe Airport has been named “Gonghe Airport in Hainan Prefecture.” In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on Place Name Management, this is hereby announced. Gonghe Airport in Hainan Prefecture is located at the border area between Qabucha Town and Nian Di Township in Gonghe County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province: to the east, it extends to Gasi Village in Qabucha Town; to the west, to Nian Di Village in Nian Di Township; to the south, within Qushina Village and Yangrang Village in Nian Di Township; and to the north, to Lalong Village in Nian Di Township.
