Abstract generation in progress

By the end of February, Pop Mart sued Zhu Zhu Technology over copyright ownership and infringement disputes, more than ten days have passed since then. It is understood that Zhu Zhu is actively promoting communication with Pop Mart. The origin of this lawsuit stems from Zhu Zhu Technology’s 3D model community MakerWorld, which contains a large number of unauthorized print data models of popular Pop Mart IPs. Users only need to download the models to use Zhu Zhu printers to “replicate” trendy toys like LABUBU, or even for profit-making purposes. An insider close to Pop Mart revealed: Pop Mart’s legal team had sent letters to Zhu Zhu Technology in May and October 2025 to address platform infringement issues, and it was not until the beginning of this year that they officially filed a lawsuit. Regarding whether to negotiate a settlement, follow-up developments can be watched. The insider said that Zhu Zhu’s executives are actively communicating with Pop Mart, seeking the possibility of settlement and cooperation, and both legal and business departments are waiting for the management’s decision.
