Mars Finance News, on April 12, Trump stated in an interview with FOX News that a week ago I wrote, “Tonight, the entire Iranian civilization will vanish, and it will be irreversible.” I don’t want that to happen, but it is very likely to occur. It was this statement that brought the Iranians to the negotiation table. I could take Iran in one day, I could destroy all their energy sources and power plants within an hour. I don’t want to do that because once I do, they won’t be able to rebuild for ten years, never again. I believe they will return to the negotiation table because no one would be foolish enough—without any leverage—to say, “We want nuclear weapons.” They have no leverage, not a single one.
