Why does it seem like Americans are on the defensive this time?
Iran is not in a hurry to renegotiate with the U.S.
On April 12, Iran's Tasnim News Agency, citing informed sources, reported that Iran is not eager to resume negotiations with the United States. It is said that Iran has put forward reasonable proposals during the talks, and now "the ball is in the U.S. court," and the U.S. should take a pragmatic approach to the issues.
The source also stated that the U.S. government "is making mistakes just like in war decision-making, and so far has also been making mistakes in negotiation decisions." Iran is not in a rush; as long as the U.S. does not agree to reach a reasonable agreement, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not change. Currently, the time and place for the next round of negotiations have not been determined. $ETH
