So lately I've been noticing an interesting trend in the crypto industry. Many crypto companies are deciding to carry out massive layoffs in a short period of time. Over the past few weeks, this wave of downsizing has occurred across various platforms and companies, and they all have similar reasons.

If you pay attention, they blame two main factors. First, the weak market conditions that have drastically reduced revenue. Second, the rapid development of AI, which has become a game changer making some positions less relevant. The combination of these two things seems to be the main reason why many companies decide to trim down their teams.

What’s interesting is that this isn’t just happening in one or two companies. It’s a broader trend across the entire sector. I think this reflects the reality that the crypto industry is still very volatile and sensitive to global market conditions. When market sentiment shifts, these companies need to adapt quickly or they’ll struggle.

AI also becomes an unavoidable factor. Many functions that once required large teams can now be automated. So it’s understandable that companies decide to restructure and focus on their core competencies. This is the new reality in the digital era we’re entering.

It will be interesting to see how this industry evolves moving forward. Those who can adapt quickly will be the ones to survive and grow in this competitive market.
