Abstract generation in progress

According to reports from the Lingang New Area, recently, Shanghai Nuclear Fusion Energy Commercial Company’s independently developed global first all–high-temperature superconducting tokamak device—“Honghuang 70”—has successfully achieved 1,337 seconds of steady-state long-pulse plasma operation, becoming the world’s only commercial nuclear fusion enterprise to realize thousand-second-level long-pulse operation, far exceeding the previous hundred-second running limit for commercial companies. This breakthrough not only validates the engineering feasibility and stability of the all–high-temperature superconducting technology route in fusion devices, but also “presses the accelerator” for the commercialization and on-the-ground deployment of nuclear fusion; it further means that Shanghai’s early layout of future energy industries is now one step closer to greater certainty.
