Service exports increased by 4.7% year-on-year

This newspaper Beijing, April 7th. ( Reporter Luo Shanshan ) learned from the Ministry of Commerce: In the first two months, China’s total service import and export value was 1,143.07 billion yuan, of which exports were 442.49 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%.
The proportion of knowledge-intensive service import and export has increased. In the first two months, knowledge-intensive service import and export was 486.27 billion yuan, accounting for 42.5% of the total service import and export, up 0.3 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, knowledge-intensive service exports were 248.23 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%.
Travel, other commercial services, and transportation ranked in the top three in scale. In the first two months, travel import and export was 362.59 billion yuan, making it the largest sector in China’s service trade, with travel exports of 60.96 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.5%. The import and export amounts of other commercial services and transportation were 272.32 billion yuan and 212.23 billion yuan, respectively.
