ME News Report, April 11 (UTC+8), the French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI) released the National Cybersecurity Roadmap for 2026-2027, requiring various ministries and agencies to complete the migration of sensitive systems to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) by the end of 2030. According to the schedule, ministries and agencies must complete sensitive long-term data inventories by the end of 2026 and identify affected encryption and digital signature systems by the end of 2027. Starting from 2030, France will only allow the deployment of encryption products with post-quantum protection capabilities. ANSSI stated that this move aims to prevent the “harvest now, decrypt later” risk. (Source: MLion)
