Mars Finance News, on April 11th, local time the 11th, an Iranian source said that the conditions set by Iran for starting negotiations, including the unfreezing of Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon, have not yet been met. However, earlier, a senior Iranian official stated that the United States has agreed to unfreeze Iran’s assets “frozen in banks in Qatar and other countries.” The U.S. has not made any public response regarding the unfreezing of Iranian assets. On the 10th, Iran’s Islamic Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani posted on social media that two conditions must be met before negotiations begin: first, a ceasefire in Lebanon; second, the unfreezing of Iran’s frozen assets. Additionally, on the same day, Iran’s negotiating team met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif and again with Pakistan Army Chief Munir, “possibly exchanging new information.” Iran previously stated that Munir “met with the Iranian negotiating team last night.” (CCTV News)
