🔥Chainalysis: Shipping companies using cryptocurrencies to pay for the Strait of Hormuz tolls may face sanctions risks

Senior intelligence analyst Kaitlin Martin from Chainalysis stated that shipping companies paying transit fees possibly destined for Iran using cryptocurrencies could face serious sanctions risks. Previously, there were reports that Iran might seek to collect transit fees in the form of cryptocurrencies. Although not officially confirmed, U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he would not accept any attempts by Tehran to impose tolls on shipping passing through this important waterway.
