Shouchuang Futures: The international crude oil market is somewhat chaotic

Recent rumors have been numerous, but their authenticity is hard to verify. Reports from Iran include: the Iranian government has not blocked the Strait of Hormuz, Chinese ships are passing through the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has abandoned its nuclear program, and Iran claims to have hit a US cruise ship. These messages contain both bullish and bearish elements, and some are contradictory, leading to a chaotic market. As a result, recent days have seen high-level wide-range fluctuations with no clear direction. The crude oil term structure remains in deep backwardation, and the market generally expects the Strait to remain blocked for a short period. In terms of trading, you can short volatility or engage in a carry trade. (Chuangchuang Futures)
