Today, all three major A-share indices closed higher, with the ChiNext Index soaring 3.78% to lead the gains, the Shenzhen Component Index up 2.24%, the Shanghai Composite up 0.51%, and the Beijing 50 Index rising 1.66%. The combined trading volume across the two markets was 2.3376 trillion yuan, with an increased volume of 190.3 billion yuan, and over 3,900 stocks rose.



In terms of sectors, batteries and energy metals led the gains, while precious metals and port shipping lagged.

Market hotspots include Xinwangda becoming a Tesla battery supplier and a discussion among four departments on "countering involution," strengthening the new energy industry chain; DRAM prices rebounding, with many storage chip stocks hitting the daily limit; computing hardware rising; gold stocks declining, and optical fiber concept stocks pulling back.

Overall, the market showed increased volume with widespread gains, led by technology and new energy sectors, while cyclical consumer sectors took a breather.
