The supply side of the gaming industry continues to release new products, with the Game ETF Guotai (516010) soaring 3.4%, as the industry's long-term potential and AI application progress attract attention.
The supply side of new products in the gaming industry continues to release steadily. On April 1st, the Gaming ETF Guotai (516010) surged by 3.4%, with long-term industry potential and AI application progress attracting attention.
Wanlian Securities pointed out that, from a medium- to long-term perspective, the supply side of the gaming industry continues to release new products, the normalization trend of game licensing is stable, and combined with policy adjustments of leading companies within the industry ecosystem and supply chain, the industry’s long-term growth potential is sufficient. As AI capabilities improve, the commercialization of downstream application scenarios has become the main focus of the industry, with particular attention to progress in AI + content creation, AI + gaming, and AI + marketing and advertising. Currently, competition in the AI industry is becoming increasingly fierce; projects that only pursue technological breakthroughs without commercial implementation pathways are difficult to sustain long-term. The strategic adjustments of industry leaders indicate that future development logic will focus more on vertical scenario applications, strictly control cost-effectiveness, anchor on genuine user needs, and shift development back to practicality, profitability, and deep integration with the industry. Additionally, the casual pet-catching track has been validated as having sufficient market potential.
The Guotai Gaming ETF (516010) tracks the Animation & Gaming Index (930901), which focuses on companies in the animation, gaming, and related industry chains. It selects publicly listed companies engaged in animation production, game development and operation, IP derivatives, and related businesses as index samples, aiming to reflect the overall performance and development trends of listed companies in the cultural industry centered on innovation and digital entertainment.
