Macron states that a French military personnel was killed in an attack in Iraq
French President Emmanuel Macron posted on X platform that a member of the 7th Alpine Hunter Battalion from Valses was killed in an attack in the Erbil region of Iraq. Several other soldiers were injured. He added that this attack on the French military is unacceptable.
