March 18, 2026, ICE raw sugar main contract closing price was 14.82 cents per pound, with the RMB exchange rate at 6.8879. According to calculations, the estimated tax-included processing cost of Brazilian sugar within quota is 4,134 yuan per ton, and the estimated tax-included processing cost of Brazilian sugar outside quota is 5,255 yuan per ton; compared to Rizhao white sugar spot price, the estimated profit for processing Brazilian sugar within quota is 1,486 yuan per ton, and outside quota is 365 yuan per ton.
