Elemental founder Moo posted a critique of Drift Protocol's recent mishandling of security incidents, stating that their multi-signature security standards are severely inadequate, and the management lacks transparency in responses. This has resulted in significant user funds being lost and has severely damaged trust in the entire DeFi industry. Moo also mentioned that some users have chosen to exit DeFi and move their funds back into the traditional banking system due to the incident. On-chain investigator ZachXBT responded by revealing that Elemental had employed DPRK (North Korean) IT workers for years, disclosing related identities and addresses.
