Another award! Shanghai Electric Power Equipment wins the "14th Five-Year Plan" Energy Innovation Case Award

On March 20, 2026, the 11th China Energy Development and Innovation Conference was grandly resumed in Beijing. Shangneng Electric was invited to attend with advanced technologies and benchmark projects. Thanks to its outstanding performance in Phase I of the Guangdong Zhongshan Nanlang Energy Storage Power Station project, it won the “14th Five-Year Plan” Energy Innovation Case Award.

As the first large-scale grid-side independent energy storage project completed and put into operation in Zhongshan City, the 100MW/200MWh Nanlang Energy Storage Power Station Phase I project in Guangdong includes Shangneng Electric’s core equipment, a 1250kW centralized energy storage PCS. The product features second-generation enhanced hybrid grid-forming technology. It adopts globally leading IGBT drive technology and intelligent control algorithms, demonstrating clear advantages across three key dimensions: response speed, command latency, and control accuracy. Its comprehensive frequency modulation performance indicator (K value) is industry-leading, providing strong support for regional energy security and new energy utilization.
