More than 100 cluster bombs deployed by Israel and the U.S. have been discovered and destroyed in Fars Province, Iran

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Fars Province Fazel military district issued a notice on the 28th, saying that Iran’s security forces discovered and destroyed 122 cluster bombs dropped by American and Israeli fighter jets in areas on the outskirts of Shiraz city, the provincial capital, as well as in surrounding counties and towns. The notice said that these cluster bombs were dropped several days earlier in places such as Kafri village in Shiraz. The blasts caused casualties among local civilians. After examination, the relevant munitions were identified as BLU-108 submunitions carried by the U.S.-made CBU-105 type cluster bombs. The notice said that the U.S.-and-Israeli forces’ use of such weapons against civilian areas is another ironclad piece of evidence of their war crimes. (CCTV News)
