Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government issued the “Work Plan on Deepening Urban-Rural Integration and Narrowing the ‘Three Major Gaps’ by Advancing Common Prosperity First Demonstration Driven by the ‘Ten Million Project’ in 2026,” under which the plan proposes to build characteristic and advantageous industrial cluster groups. It will further advance the construction of national advantageous and distinctive industrial cluster groups in agricultural areas such as early tea from southern Zhejiang, “Zhejiang Eight Flavors” genuine medicinal herbs, Hu sheep, egg-laying hens, edible fungi, Longjing tea, and others, striving to secure the addition of 1 more national advantageous and distinctive industrial cluster group. It will speed up the development of provincial-level characteristic industrial cluster core areas and coordinated areas, as well as characteristic industrial clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises. It will promote the clustered development of historic and classic industries, and accelerate the construction of historic and classic industrial parks. It will continuously drive development zones such as economic development zones and high-tech zones to optimize and upgrade, accelerate the construction of industrial parks for specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises, and implement the action to upgrade and improve small and micro enterprise parks, as well as the capacity-enhancement projects for modern agricultural parks.
