A few days ago, I talked with the curator @CyberCurator7. In an era where AI tools are blooming everywhere, he is a creator focused on self-media. Whether it's the script quality or editing rhythm of his videos, I think everyone will find them professional and comfortable to watch.
So he developed a set of products that highly fit his personal workflow: using OpenClaw to automatically generate topics, most video materials are AI-generated, and scripts and storyboards are initially drafted by AI before he fine-tunes them himself; he personally records the narration, and still controls the editing himself. This way, the most time-consuming and labor-intensive steps—“material screening” and “pre-production planning”—are greatly reduced, significantly improving overall productivity.
Moreover, he tracks the traffic of already published videos, using real data to decide whether to push more traffic, how much to push, and how to optimize and iterate the next video.
After listening, I think it’s quite good.
Nowadays, many people are “handcrafting” AI websites or tools: some do it for personal use, to let AI help them make money; others want to package and sell it to others. Ideas are diverse, but few actually run smoothly and generate stable value.
Whether creating tools to replace repetitive, complex, boring work or developing market-ready services for sale, the premise is the same—ask yourself three questions first:
1. Am I willing to pay for this service myself?
2. Who exactly are the target users? Which specific group or niche?
3. Who do I really want to make money from?
If you can’t even figure out these questions, why would others pay? How can you truly maximize AI to work for you instead of working for AI?
First, become the person who earns more after being liberated by AI, then sell this “liberation” methodology. Others aren’t buying the tool—they’re buying the same growth curve as you.
In other words, start with extreme self-use, solve your most painful pain points, and generate ROI; once the process proves effective, consider productizing and selling to the “people most like yourself.” This not only helps AI genuinely amplify your income but also makes it easier to find users willing to pay.
