To respond to the head office’s green finance development strategy, and to further deepen the development of localized scenario-based ecosystem, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Changzhou Branch launched the “Tracing Jiangnan, Gathering in Longcheng” mobile banking cultural tourism check-in campaign. Since it began on February 11, 2026, the campaign’s first week alone has attracted more than 8,000 individual check-in participations, while the number of active mobile banking accounts increased by 2.13% month-over-month. Finance not only empowers cultural tourism, promotes low-carbon commuting, but also improves the activity level of mobile banking.

The campaign features selected stations along Metro Line 1, advocating green travel and highlighting check-in routes for three major well-known featured attractions in Changzhou: China Dinosaur Park, the “Eastern Jurassic” themed amusement park; Minna Citizen Square, the central core area of the Changzhou Cultural Plaza modern architectural complex; and Qinggu Lane, a historical and cultural street district of Jiangnan. During the campaign period, customers can go to any 1 check-in spot, log into the ICBC Mobile Banking App, enter “Roaming Jiangsu” under the “Green Space” section, go to the Changzhou check-in campaign page, and complete the check-in to receive ICBC i-Bean rewards. In addition, if customers check in at any 2 points, they can also receive 1 Changzhou-themed digital collectible. During the campaign, to help increase ICBC’s brand exposure, the Changzhou Branch coordinated promotions with the local “Hualong Lane” website, further strengthening the market recognition of ICBC’s innovative service model of “finance + cultural tourism.”

This campaign is an innovative attempt by the ICBC Changzhou Branch’s online financial center to carry out the strategic arrangements made by the head office, and to deeply explore local scenario-based financial services. By organically integrating elements such as metro commuting, cultural tourism experiences, and digital collectibles, the campaign has explored new initiatives to attract customers in low-carbon scenarios. In the next stage, the Changzhou Branch will continue to deepen its exploration of more innovative activities, strengthen digital finance, and contribute more to the development of the local economy and society.
