The first humanoid robot company, offering a maximum annual salary of 124 million to hire a CEO

A well-known embodied-intelligence robot (300024) company, Shenzhen Youbixun Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Youbixun”), announced on the afternoon of April 2 that the company is currently seeking a Chief Scientist for embodied intelligence globally; the role comes with a starting annual salary of RMB 15 million, with a maximum of up to RMB 124 million.

“We are looking for a Chief Scientist in embodied intelligence who will serve as the helmsman on Youbixun’s technological path, and also as the game-changer in the humanoid robot industry.” The company said.

According to its plan, the above-mentioned scientist will define Youbixun’s technical roadmap in humanoid robots and embodied intelligence, lead the vision-language-action model, the robot foundation model, and the learning of manipulation and dexterous skills; achieve breakthroughs in core research areas, and drive frontier embodied-intelligence technologies from the laboratory into real-world scenarios; accelerate large-scale deployment of humanoid robots across diverse scenarios such as intelligent manufacturing, commercial services, and home companionship.

Youbixun was founded in March 2012. It is a company with full-stack technical capabilities for humanoid robots, including industry-leading robot hardware and control technologies, artificial intelligence technologies (brain-mimicking and cerebellum-mimicking systems), and the integration technologies of robots and artificial intelligence. On December 29, 2023, Youbixun (9880.HK) was listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in China, becoming the “No. 1 humanoid robot stock.”

On March 31, Youbixun released its full-year 2025 performance report. The financial report shows that in 2025, the company achieved revenue of RMB 2B, up 53.3% year over year; gross profit was RMB 754 million, up 101.6% year over year; net loss was RMB 789.8 million; and net loss attributable to shareholders was RMB 703 million, with the loss narrowing.

In 2025, Youbixun’s full-size embodied-intelligence humanoid robot (not remote-controlled, not a toy, height above 160cm) achieved revenue of RMB 820 million, up 2,203.7% year over year; sales volume was 1,079 units, up 35,866.7% year over year. Both revenue and sales volume ranked No. 1 globally. Based on this estimate, the average selling price of the full-size embodied-intelligence humanoid robot is approximately RMB 760k per unit.

In the job posting, Youbixun emphasized that the company’s monetary capital amounts to RMB 4.92 billion.
