National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration: China has favorable conditions for high-quality development of the grain industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan period

The head of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, Liu Huanzin, said recently that the outline of the “15th Five-Year Plan and Beyond” is set to guide the development of the grain industry. Large-scale equipment upgrades for grain processing, projects to improve quality and efficiency in grain distribution, and the implementation of the full-grain action plan will open up new market space for grain and oil products. Continued stable regulation of grain storage and reserves and support for reliable grain supply will also create favorable conditions for and provide strong support to high-quality development of China’s grain industry.
