Mars Finance news, according to a report by CoinDesk: On Monday, Paul Atkins, Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), said the agency is about to submit a regulatory proposal to further clarify how it will regulate the crypto industry and to define which transactions may be considered securities and which are not. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins said that the agency’s new regulatory proposal has already been filed with the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, which means that only one step remains before its official release. He said the rulemaking will mainly be based on the Securities Act of 1933 and will involve issues such as financing and exemptions for startups. After the Q&A session, he said the SEC also plans to roll out the long-awaited innovation exemption soon.
