Beibu Gulf Port: After the Pinglu Canal becomes operational, it is expected to have a positive impact on the company's operations.

People’s Finance News, April 7. On April 7, Beibu Gulf Port (000582) said on an interactive platform that after the Pinglu Canal opens for navigation, it will strongly enhance the transportation capacity and efficiency of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor. This will help freight sources in the hinterland shift more to Beibu Gulf Port for export, and is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s operations. Meanwhile, to adapt to the changes in the transportation pattern brought about by the Pinglu Canal opening, the company is actively completing supporting engineering facilities, planning in advance the layout of its river-sea intermodal ports and the implementation plans. At the same time, it is also actively marketing to move hinterland cargoes from the hinterland to Beibu Gulf Port for export via the Pinglu Canal.
