The Shanghai Securities News and China Securities Network reported, March 12, 2026, that the 2026 China Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics Expo (AWE 2026) opened. JD.com made its first-ever joint appearance with several leading global robotics brands, including Unitree Robotics, Ubtech, CloudSEED, Yuantian Intelligent, and MirrorWise Technology, among others. More than 60 of the featured star robot product offerings were assembled to jointly build a “Robot Mecha Alliance” matrix. During the event, JD.com officially released the “Smart Robot Industry Acceleration Plan 2.0,” helping brand partners achieve cumulative revenue on the scale of 10 billion yuan within 2026.

According to the plan, with a billion-yuan-level investment in the smart robotics field, JD.com will accelerate the building of an ecosystem cooperation model driven by multiple rounds—covering areas such as customization of consumer-grade products, technology-enabled R&D, supply chain financial services, coordinated alignment of domestic and overseas channels, marketing co-building, and driving the formulation and improvement of industry standards—thereby providing deeper, multi-dimensional support for the high-quality development of brand partners. Second, JD.com will sign in-depth strategic cooperation agreements with multiple leading smart robotics brands, helping brand partners achieve cumulative sales growth exceeding 10 billion yuan within 2026, and enabling rapid growth. In addition, JD.com will fully open up a wide range of rich scenarios for industry partners across multiple business formats—retail, logistics, technology, health, production and distribution, industrial applications, food delivery, and life services—while also launching large-scale procurement orders at the hundreds-of-millions level, working together to accelerate the rollout of the smart robotics industry and applications in consumer scenarios.

On the technology cooperation front, on the one hand, JD.com will continue to provide JoyAI large-model support for all kinds of robotics products, as well as the capabilities of the JoyInside intelligent voice module constructed based on it, helping products better understand hardware, complete complex tasks, and achieve more advanced human-computer interaction. On the other hand, to address pain points such as short robot battery life and insufficient compatibility, JD.com has launched a standardized battery solution for robotics products. By using unified structures, interfaces, and communication protocols, and leveraging its supply chain advantages, JD.com will significantly shorten product prototyping cycles and reduce brand procurement costs.

Beyond the strategic release, during this year’s AWE, JD.com also collaborated with well-known robotics brands including Unitree Robotics, Ubtech, CloudSEED, Yuantian Intelligent, and MirrorWise Technology. In the form of the Robot Mecha Alliance, it concentrated on showcasing more than 60 smart robot product offerings covering scenarios such as embodied intelligence, AI companionship, industrial and commercial services, and intelligent stir-frying of dishes, among others.

JD.com said that in the future it will continue to leverage its multiple advantages in the supply chain, technology, scenarios, and channels, and further deepen strategic alignment with ecosystem partners. It will build a more open and win-win robotics industry ecosystem, jointly promote innovation in smart robotics products and real-world scenario deployments, and accelerate benefits for the thousands of industries and every household.
