1. Full Account of the Scam (Disclosed by “New Northern”)

1. Precise timing
On March 5, during the match against Shandong, Guo Ailun tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee; his season was over, he suffered severe pain after surgery, and he was psychologically fragile.
“Tao Ge” frequently visited him in the hospital and showed care, taking advantage of his vulnerable moment.
2. Bait: fake high-yield projects
- He claimed there were cultural and tourism funds and sports IP projects, with an annualized return of 22%+ and “sure profits with no losses”
- He forged a contract for a glass skywalk, a contract for a new materials plant, fake official seals, and fake statements/reports
- He took Guo Ailun to see an empty factory in Anshan (“Airi New Materials”), with no business registration and no social insurance
- He added Guo Ailun to groups full of small/duplicate accounts, creating the appearance of “internal quotas” and “limited-time opportunities to invest”
3. Multiple transfers (in 4 installments)
- Transfer 1: 750,000 yuan (scanned the code after visiting the factory)
- Transfers 2–3: totaling about 4 million yuan (transferred between 1–2 a.m.)
- Transfer 4: 4.2 million yuan (remark: “Phase II equipment prepayment”)
- Total: nearly 10 million yuan
- The funds were withdrawn using the father’s and sister’s accounts, to avoid corporate and risk controls
4. Disappeared with the money
That night when the last payment arrived:
- He got blocked, his phone was turned off, and the account was deleted/canceled
- His hometown restaurant shut down overnight
- The money was split into more than ten portions, transferred into virtual currency and to an offshore shell company (Seychelles)
- Recovering the funds is extremely difficult

2. Key commentary points from “New Northern”

- A typical “scam targeting people he knew well (killing familiarity)”: trust built over many years was exploited by a longtime friend
